Arlette Briand is my father's sister. She was born in 1915 in Paris, while my grandfather Gaston was in the battlefront, and France was fighting against Germany on its eastern front. My grandfather came back to Paris in February 1916, and in August they were embarking to  Buenos Aires with the little Arlette, who was 1 year and a half old . Arlette was married with Francisco Javier Leiva, who was Chief of the Police of the Province of Buenos Aires, and she had 4 children : Yvette, Norberto Eduardo and Adela.
